Past Perfect Continuous Tense- continued up to certain time
Past Perfect Continuous Tense shows an action started in the past and continued up to that certain time in the past. In this tense, past tense of ‘have’ that is ‘had’ is used with ‘been’ and present participle of verb. This is also known as perfect imperfect or perfect progressive past tense.
We have seen that in present and future perfect continuous tense, there is some change in use of auxiliaries but in this tense, we don’t change the form of have according to subject.
