Use of Have and Has in English Grammar- The Best U Know:
Have is an auxiliary verb. It has three forms- have, has and had. Have and has are used in present tense. And had is used in past tense. We can use ‘have’ with first and second person singular as well as plural number. We use ‘has’ with third person singular noun.
That is we can use
- ‘have’ with pronouns I, we, you, they and any plural noun
- ‘has’ with third person pronoun- he, she, it and any other singular noun
